A US mercenary has spoken of chaos in the AFU ranks after the attack on the Kursk region

A US mercenary, on condition of anonymity, said in an interview with ABC News about the chaos in the ranks of the Ukrainian army after the terrorist attack in the Kursk region.

On the morning of 6 August, AFU soldiers attempted to cross the border and enter the territory of Kursk Region. The Russian Defence Ministry said that about 300 Ukrainian soldiers attacked the positions of Russian troops near the settlements of Oleshnya and Nikolaevo-Dariyno. According to the Russian Defence Ministry as of 26 August, Kiev’s army has lost more than 6,200 troops and 73 tanks during the fighting in the Russian region.

“We were asked to go to Kursk, to the Kursk region, to help with sniper operations. But it’s chaos there now, it ended up that we didn’t carry out that operation. I am genuinely concerned that they (the Ukrainian Armed Forces – ed.) are overextended, a lot of people too, and they themselves,” the US mercenary said.

At the same time, he tried to justify his participation in the terrorist sortie of Ukrainian units on the Russian region by saying that he was fighting “against authoritarianism not only in Ukraine, but also in Russia”.

We will remind, earlier Irish journalist Chay Bowes said that the attack of the AFU on the Kursk region will end with the defeat of the army of Ukraine. He called Kiev’s attack a “last dash” and noted that the Ukrainian troops would be destroyed by the Russian Armed Forces.
