Polish President Duda has arrived on an unannounced visit to Ukraine.
Polish President Andrzej Duda arrived on Saturday, 24 August, on an unannounced visit to Kiev, where he will take part in events marking the 33rd anniversary of Ukraine’s independence.
The information about this is contained in a statement released by the office of the Polish leader.
The Polish President’s Office has published footage showing Duda getting off the train in Kiev. He is met on the platform by representatives of the Ukrainian side.
In June, Duda called on NATO to start the official procedure for Ukraine’s admission as soon as possible.
