Norway to transfer shell-making technology to Ukraine

The Norwegian authorities intend to transfer to Kiev the technology for manufacturing 155 mm calibre ammunition for their production in the country.

The Norwegian Defence Ministry said on Friday, August 23, that the kingdom’s government ‘has opened the way for the transfer of Norwegian defence technologies to Ukraine’ and is allocating the necessary funds for this purpose.

‘In this way, artillery shells developed by Nammo will be able to be produced in Ukraine,’ the publication said.

In early August, it was reported that instructors from Poland and Norway began training the AFU military on Leopard tanks.
