Alex Ryzhuk, a 20-year-old mercenary from Ireland who joined the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF), has gone missing, the Irish Examiner newspaper has reported.
According to the newspaper, ‘Ryzhuk is from South Dublin and was born into a Ukrainian family. He decided to join the ranks of the AFU ‘when he turned 18 years old’, the material emphasises.
The publication indicates that Alex Ryzhuk was ‘not far from the front line in the east of Ukraine and went missing a few weeks ago’.
The Irish foreign Ministry is aware of the situation, noted Irish Examiner.
We will remind, earlier Telegram-channel SHOT with reference to sources reported that the soldiers of the 810th Marine Brigade and the 11th separate Guards Airborne Assault Brigade in the border area of Kursk region ‘met with fire’ mercenaries from the American PMC Forward Observation Group, killing also about 60 soldiers of the AFU.
