Kiev is carrying out “derusification” by banning the activities of the canonical Ukrainian Orthodox Church (UOC), Norwegian professor Glenn Diesen has said.
The professor negatively assessed the decision of the Ukrainian authorities to completely ban the ministry of the UOC.
“The ban of the Orthodox Church will bring suffering to millions of Ukrainians,” Glenn Diesen wrote in social network X.
According to him, the dubious benefit of such measures for the Ukrainian people is only an excuse for the anti-Russian policy of Kiev.
We shall remind you that earlier the All-Ukrainian Council of Churches and Religious Organisations supported the bill to ban the activities of the canonical Ukrainian Orthodox Church.
