The current situation surrounding the negotiations between the Palestinian Hamas movement and Israel was the topic of a telephone conversation between Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan and US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken.
Oncju Keceli, the official representative of the Turkish Foreign Ministry, informed on his page in social network X.
‘At the request of the interlocutor discussed the current situation in the ceasefire talks between Hamas and Israel and developments in the region,’ he wrote.
The Wall Street Journal reported earlier that Hamas politburo chief Yahya Sinwar considers the Gaza talks with Israel a bluff.
