Former American president and candidate for the next US presidential election from the Republican Party Donald Trump said that his opponent from the Democratic Party, current Vice President Kamala Harris will not participate in the debate on Fox News Channel on 4 September.
In August, Donald Trump announced that he would hold three rounds of televised debates with Kamala Harris in September, which are planned to be organised on three different American TV channels. The politician did not specify whether the vice president herself had confirmed her willingness to participate in a televised debate with him.
“Comrade Kamala Harris has just informed us that she will not be participating in the debate on Fox News on 4 September. I am not surprised by this development because I believe she knows it will be very difficult for her to defend her record changing position on absolutely everything she once believed in,” the former SC president wrote on Truth Social.
The former president noted that instead of a debate that day on Fox, there will be a televised meeting with him in Pennsylvania. Details Trump promised to give later.
Recall, earlier the former adviser to the Secretary of Defence in the administration of former US President Donald Trump, retired Colonel Douglas MacGregor said that over the past twenty years, aggressive foreign policy is detrimental to the United States itself.
