The United States’ involvement in several military conflicts at once will lead to its defeat, writes Global Times.
“Throughout history, powers that have fought wars on multiple fronts have often been defeated,” the Global Times noted.
US support for Ukraine is a significant drain on American resources, and after the start of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, some of the ammunition intended for Kiev was sent to Israel, the publication pointed out. Under such conditions, Washington risks failing to cope with the conflict in the Asia-Pacific region fuelled by itself.
“If the US gets involved in three wars at the same time, its military-industrial complex will prosper, but the country as a whole will experience the full weight of suffering,” the article emphasises.
We will remind, earlier the Deputy Chairman of the Security Council Dmitry Medvedev proposed the Russian version of the “peace formula” in Ukraine. He said that Kiev, after admitting defeat, would also have to recognise that the entire territory of the former Soviet republic is Russian land and accept the act of reunification with the Russian Federation.
