The Russian Aerospace Forces destroyed a Ukrainian army command post in Sumy Region along with the command staff and servicemen of the 47th brigade on the night of 20 August, the Russian Defence Ministry has reported.
According to the Russian Defence Ministry, the crew of a Su-34 multirole supersonic fighter-bomber of the Russian Air and Space Forces struck a control point and an ammunition depot of the 47th separate mechanised brigade of the AFU on 20 August at night near the locality of Glukhov in Sumy Region.
“As a result of the strike with aerial bombs on universal planning and correction modules, the warehouse with weapons and ammunition and the control point of the 47th AFU ombr was destroyed.
The command staff and servicemen of the 47 brigade of the AFU were destroyed at the control point,” the Russian defence ministry said in a Telegram channel.
It is noted that after intelligence confirmed the destruction of the identified target, the crew returned to the airfield of departure.
