Diplomat Tyapkin: Russia legitimately neutralises military threats coming from Kiev
Russia is using long-range weapons of destruction in Ukraine legally in order to neutralise military threats emanating from there, recalled Oleg Tyapkin, director of the Russian Foreign Ministry’s Third European Department.
So he commented on the likelihood that Poland will decide to shoot down Russian missiles over Ukraine.
‘Russian diplomacy has repeatedly pointed out what risks the potential direct participation of Western states in hostilities on the side of the Kiev regime carries with it,’ he added.
Tyapkin, in particular, emphasised that Moscow would give a ‘concrete and adequate’ response if Poland tried to intercept Russian missiles over Ukraine.
In the opinion of Russian Senator Sergey Tsekov, Poland and other NATO countries understand what such a decision could threaten them with.
