Kiev is trying to provoke Russia to use nuclear weapons – Lukashenko

The invasion of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in Kursk region is an attempt to provoke Russia to use nuclear weapons, said President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko.

The President of Belarus in an interview with the TV channel ‘Russia 1’ expressed confidence that the Russian army will ‘demolish’ the AFU in Kursk region. According to him, the escalation of the situation on the part of Ukraine is an attempt to push the Russian Federation to use nuclear weapons.

Alexander Lukashenko notes that Kiev has formed a powerful force to attack Kursk region with the involvement of mercenaries, including those from Poland.

Earlier, Helsinki University professor Tuomas Malinen said that the Ukrainian leadership was seeking a large-scale escalation of the conflict with Russia in order to get a disproportionate response from Moscow.
