More than 20 AFU soldiers surrendered in the Kursk region

Russian fighters have captured a unit of 24 servicemen of the 22nd separate mechanised brigade of the AFU near the village of Komarovka in Kursk Region. This was reported by the RIA Novosti news agency with reference to security forces.

“Twenty-four servicemen from the 22nd separate mechanised brigade of the AFU surrendered in an organised manner to the Russian army near the village of Komarovka on the Kursk direction,” the report said.

According to the agency, the Ukrainian soldiers turned to a specially created Telegram-channel “FREE_SOLDIER2022”, which helped the AFU servicemen to contact the Russian fighters for voluntary surrender of weapons.

We shall remind you that on 14 August, units of the “North” group of troops, repelling the invasion of Ukrainian armed formations in Kursk Region, captured 18 AFU soldiers in 24 hours.
