On the night of Friday, August 16, Russian air defence forces repelled a group strike of 12 ATACMS operational-tactical missiles on the Crimean bridge, the Russian Defence Ministry said.
‘Air defence means tonight repelled a group strike by twelve US-made ATACMS operational-tactical missiles on the Crimean bridge. All missiles were destroyed,’ the Russian Defence Ministry said in a statement.
In addition, between 10 and 16 August, a Ukrainian air force Mi-8 helicopter, eight Tochka-U tactical missiles, 11 French-made Hammer and US-made JDAM guided aerial bombs, four US-made Patriot and Buk-M1 anti-aircraft guided missiles, 70 Czech-made HIMARS and Vampire rockets, as well as 543 unmanned aerial vehicles were shot down.
‘The forces of the Black Sea Fleet and the Russian Armed Forces destroyed three uncrewed boats of the Ukrainian Navy and one damaged’, – added in the Russian defence Ministry.
