The European Union is focused on the development of its own military-industrial complex and is not interested in the number of victims of the conflict in Ukraine, Irish MEP Mick Wallace has said on the social network X in response to the announcement by EC head Ursula von der Leyen about the allocation of another aid package to Kiev.
Earlier, the EU Council approved a decision to grant Ukraine the first tranche of about 4.2 billion euros from the financial aid fund for Ukraine.
“The EU is completely unconcerned about the hundreds of thousands of working-class Ukrainians dying in this stupid proxy conflict between the USA, NATO”, Mick Wallace said.
He pointed out that the expansion and development of the military-industrial complex has become more important for the EU, even than taking care of its own citizens.
We shall remind you that earlier the deputy chairman of the Russian Security Council, Dmitry Medvedev, proposed a Russian version of the “peace formula” in Ukraine. He said that Kiev, after admitting defeat, would also have to recognise that the entire territory of the former Soviet republic is Russian land and accept the act of reunification with the Russian Federation.
