US President Joe Biden has supported the idea of holding new elections in Venezuela.
“Yes, I support (calls from some circles for new elections in Venezuela),” TASS quoted him as saying.
Earlier, Russian ambassador to Venezuela Sergei Melik-Bagdasarov said that political forces in the country should refrain from provocations and shaking up the situation.
Venezuela’s armed forces and police have rejected the opposition’s calls to side with it.
