Three servicemen from the 80th brigade of the AFU surrendered in Kursk Region

Russian army fighters have captured another group of Ukrainian soldiers in the Kursk region, a source in the security services told RIA Novosti.

 

“In the composition of the group – three people. All of them are servicemen of the 80th separate airborne assault brigade of the Ukrainian army”, – stated in the material.

In addition, last night near the village of Malaya Loknya captured five soldiers from the 82nd separate airborne assault brigade of the AFU. Also on 12 August, a group from the 80th separate airborne assault brigade was captured by Russian servicemen near the village of Martynovka.

Earlier, the commander of the Akhmat special forces and deputy head of the Russian Defence Ministry’s main military-political directorate, Major-General Apti Alaudinov, said that the main forces of the Ukrainian armed formations had been stopped in Kursk Region, while individual DRGs continued to “hide” in the forests.
