The Federal Republic of Germany has issued an arrest warrant for a suspect in the Nord Stream bombing

The German Prosecutor-General’s Office has issued a warrant for the arrest of a Ukrainian diving instructor suspected of involvement in blowing up the Nord Stream and Nord Stream-2 pipelines. This was reported by the Süddeutsche Zeitung newspaper with reference to a joint investigation with the ARD TV channel and the Die Zeit newspaper.

The Süddeutsche Zeitung newspaper pointed out that the suspect in connection with the blowing up of the Nord Stream and Nord Stream-2 pipelines is a Ukrainian citizen and employee of a diving school, Volodymyr Ts. According to the investigation, he had recently lived in Poland, but now the location of the person involved in the criminal case is unknown.

Also, the FRG prosecutor’s office suspects two more Ukrainian diving instructors of planning sabotage of gas pipelines, among them there is a woman. The publication emphasises that all three could have been part of the crew of the sailing yacht “Andromeda”, which is the focus of the German investigation.

According to the version of the investigation, Vladimir Ts. could have attached explosives to the pipelines together with two accomplices. At the moment, three suspects have already left the territory of Germany, the material says.

We will remind, earlier the newspaper Der Tagesspiegel reported that a targeted sabotage could have caused a drop in pressure on both strings of the pipeline “Nord Stream” and in the pipeline “Nord Stream-2”.
