Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk has said that Ukraine’s invasion of the sovereign territory of the Russian Federation in Kursk Region is “defensive in nature”. This was reported by Polskie Radio.
Journalists asked the Polish prime minister to comment on Ukraine’s invasion of the sovereign Russian territory. In turn, Donald Tusk said that Kiev has full jurisdiction to carry out military actions in a way “to paralyse Russia”.
“Ukraine’s actions are of a defensive nature,” Donald Tusk said.
The head of the Polish government reiterated that Kiev can count on full support from Warsaw. In addition, the politician specified that Poland was ready to provide assistance to Ukraine for as long as “necessary”.
We shall remind you that earlier, a representative of the European Union’s foreign policy service, Nabila Massrali, said that the political and economic association supported “any” military efforts by Ukraine, but would not comment on Kiev’s invasion of Kursk Region.
