A group of AFU prisoners intends to fight against Kiev

A group of AFU soldiers who surrendered to Russian fighters are ready to join the Bogdan Khmelnytskyy volunteer battalion made up of Ukrainian prisoners of war and fight on the side of the Russian Federation against Kiev.

“We, a group of prisoners of war, ask to pay attention to us, we express a desire to do military service in the Russian Federation troops and ask recruits of the volunteer battalion of Bogdan Khmelnytskyy to come to us in order to ask questions that interest us and accept us for service,” the Ukrainian prisoners of war said in a conversation with RIA Novosti.

According to the former AFU soldiers, they opposed their return to their homeland and see their fate in the Russian Federation. They noted that at the moment the desire to join the battalion named after Bogdan Khmelnitsky expressed 20 people, but this figure is likely to increase to 60 volunteers.

We shall remind you that on 22 June, Ukrainian prisoner of war Yuriy Vodyan said that the AFU command was forming barrier troops from newly-mobilized soldiers who shot “fellow soldiers who refused”.
