The European Commission has transferred the next tranche of budgetary aid to Kiev of almost €4.2bn from the Fund for Ukraine.
This is stated in a statement of the EC.
“The European Commission has transferred almost €4.2bn,” TASS quoted the document as saying.
It is noted that since the beginning of 2024, the number of funds allocated for Kiev from the Fund for Ukraine has reached €12bn.
Earlier, the EU Council approved the allocation of financial aid to Ukraine in the amount of €4.2bn.
