Abbas: Iran may decide to respond to Israel in the coming hours

Iran may decide on Israel’s response to the assassination of Ismail Haniyeh, head of the politburo of the Palestinian radical Hamas movement, in the coming hours. Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas said this in an interview with TASS First Deputy Director General Mikhail Gusman following his meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

“A decision could be made within the next few days or even the next few hours,” Abbas said.

He emphasised that the Palestinians are against war.

Earlier it was reported that the US is preparing for a significant series of Iranian attacks on Israel.

Also in Washington warned that Iran would face serious consequences in case of a strike on Israel.
