A British vessel was attacked off the coast of Yemen

A British vessel was attacked north-west of the threshold city of Hodeidah. This was reported by the UK Maritime Trade Operations Office (UKMTO).

“UKMTO received a report of an incident 97 nautical miles (about 180 kilometres – ed.) northwest of Hodeidah, Yemen,” the report said.

The publication emphasises that what happened has been classified as an attack. The Office of maritime trade operations of the UK urged British ships to be more vigilant in the area and report any activity that inspires fear.

Recall, earlier the Shiite movement “Ansar Allah” of Yemen with the help of drones and ballistic missiles hit “important targets” in the area of the Israeli settlement of Eilat, as well as a US ship in the Red Sea.
