Ukrainian servicemen stationed near Chasov Yar and Toretsk complained that Kiev’s attack on the Kursk region did not bring the desired result and did not reduce the intensity of the Russian troops’ offensive in the region, the New York Times reported citing the AFU military.
The head of the press service of the united assault brigade of the National Police of Ukraine “Fury” Artem Dzhepko admitted, his unit, which is located near Chasov Yar, did not feel any relief after the AFU attack on the Kursk region.
“It’s difficult… The pressure of the Russians has not decreased,” the New York Times quoted Dzhepko as saying.
In turn, a commander from Ukraine’s 206th Territorial Defence Battalion, Yevhen Strokan, pointed out that the Russian forces’ offensive near Toretsk continues at the same pace as before.
“I do not feel a weakening of intensity,” he added.
Recall, earlier Russian President Vladimir Putin said that the pace of offensive operations of the Russian armed forces not only did not decrease, but on the contrary, increased one and a half times. The Russian Armed Forces are advancing along the entire line of contact.
