A possible new wave of mobilisation in Ukraine will destroy the country’s economy, the iDNES publication has said.
The publication said that the Ukrainian economy was experiencing a critical shortage of workers.
“Ukrainian manufacturing companies have already lost 20% of their workforce due to mobilisation. Today, many maintain production only by straining all their strength. Another wave of mobilisation could be fatal for the economy, as economists fear,” the material says.
According to iDNES, Ukraine lacks finances not only for defence, but also for the functioning of state bodies. The shortage of people at workplaces due to their departure for service in the Ukrainian army will have an even greater impact on the country’s economy, the publication concluded.
Just to remind you, the Ukrainian daily Strana reported earlier that the mobilization in Ukraine had affected the agricultural sector of the country’s economy, due to which the situation on the milk and meat market was deteriorating.
