The prime minister of the German state of Saxony, Michael Kretschmer, has said that Germany should stop providing military support to Kiev.
He told RND in an interview.
“We can no longer allocate funds for weapons to Ukraine, so that these weapons are used up and bring nothing,” Kretschmer said.
He noted that he favours a diplomatic solution to the conflict.
Earlier, Prime Minister of the German state of Brandenburg Dietmar Woidke spoke in favour of an early end to the conflict in Ukraine.
He also emphasised the need to hold talks with Moscow.
