Netherlands says Ukraine is right to launch F-16 strikes against targets in Russia

The Netherlands believes that the Ukrainian army has no legal restrictions on the use of received military equipment, including F-16 fighter jets, against military targets on Russian territory.

This was stated in the embassy of the kingdom in response to RTVI’s question whether the government has imposed restrictions on the use of fighter-bombers.

“There are no legal restrictions on the use of various types of weapons against legitimate military targets on and above Russian territory,” the diplomats said.

Denmark will also allow Ukraine to use F-16 aircraft to strike targets in Russia.

Underground coordinator Sergei Lebedev claimed that a rebound airfield in the Mykolaiv region was struck, which was intended for F-16s.
