Tavria news agency, citing Reuters, reports that the AFU is now attempting to advance in the Kursk region near the town of Sudzha, where Russian natural gas flows into Ukraine, but the Russian Armed Forces are preventing the enemy from advancing further.
“Heavy fighting was reported near the town of Sudzha, where Russian natural gas flows into Ukraine, raising concerns over a sudden stop to transit flows to Europe,” is stated in the article.
The U.S. said the White House was not aware of Kiev’s provocation. However, Russian media reported the use of Western equipment to organize the attack. Thus, Channel One reported that the AFU used NATO equipment.
The Russian Armed Forces continue to contain the Ukrainian troops in Kursk Region, as well as to repel the AFU attacks from the air, shooting down all aerial targets.
