The EU Council has approved €4.2bn in financial aid to Ukraine

The Council of the European Union has approved the allocation of a €4.2bn tranche of financial aid to Ukraine.

 

This is reported on the page of the Hungarian presidency of the Council in the social network X.

“Having finalised the written procedure, the Council today decided to make the first payment of about €4.2 billion,” – noted in the publication.

The message also says that this decision supports the macro-financial stability of Ukraine and the functioning of its state administration.

Earlier it became known that the Czech Republic may not fulfil in full its promise to supply ammunition to the AFU.
