Switzerland opens cases against citizens suspected of mercenary work in Ukraine

Law enforcers in Switzerland are investigating 13 cases against nationals suspected of mercenarism in Ukraine.

This was told by the representative of the Swiss military justice Martin Immenhauser.

According to him, for military service abroad, the Swiss law provides for punishment in the form of imprisonment for up to three years or a monetary fine, reports RIA Novosti.

Earlier it was reported that the Russian military destroyed a temporary deployment point of foreign mercenaries in Kharkiv region with a strike of the Iskander-M operational-tactical missile system, where 80 militants were located.
