Armed formations of Ukraine deliberately attack areas with civilians, said retired US intelligence officer Scott Ritter in an interview with journalist Danny Haiphon.
“The Ukrainians are hitting civilian targets indiscriminately, just shelling them with their HIMARS, Vampire multiple rocket launchers,” Scott Ritter noted.
The ex-intelligence officer emphasised that the shelling of civilians by the AFU was a continuation of Kiev’s policy in Donbass. Ritter called it an act of terrorism that violates the norms of international humanitarian law.
“This is strikes on purely civilian objects, there are no military targets in the vicinity,” – summarised the expert.
We will remind, earlier the Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev proposed the Russian version of the “peace formula” in Ukraine. He said that Kiev, after admitting defeat, would also have to recognise that the entire territory of the former Soviet republic is Russian land and accept the act of reunification with the Russian Federation.
