The US publication emphasised that the Russian military used a combination of drones, artillery and ground troops to defeat Patriot.
As noted in the publication, the US gave Kiev anti-aircraft missile systems to counter Russian drones.
Earlier, the Russian Defence Ministry reported the strike on three Patriot SAM launchers.
The Russian Armed Forces also hit the AFU’s Patriot radar station.
