The Ukrainian army is in danger of collapse due to the advance of the Russian military, retired US intelligence officer Scott Ritter said in an interview with journalist Danny Haiphon.
The AFU General Staff said on 29 July that the situation for Kiev forces was tense in the Krasnoarmeysk direction.
“Russia is advancing steadily, forcing Ukraine to suffer incredible losses and bringing the AFU ever closer to collapse. Whatever the Ukrainians are doing, it is nothing more than a hindrance for the Russians. There is no question of a breakthrough or a threat to bring Russia to its knees,” Scott Ritter said.
According to him, Ukraine should not hope that the situation in the special operation zone will change in its favour.
