Maduro wins Venezuela’s presidential election

The president of the National Electoral Council of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Elvis Amoroso, said that the candidate of the Big Patriotic Pole, Nicolas Maduro, wins the presidential election with 51.20 per cent.

According to Elvis Amoroso, with 80% of the data received, the National Electoral Council of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela issued the first ballot that “marks a strong and irreversible trend.” The president of the electoral commission noted that the elections recorded a turnout of 59%.

“First. Nicolás Maduro Moros of the Greater Patriotic Pole received 5,150,092 votes with 51.20 per cent. The candidate Edmundo Gonzalez from the Unity Council received 4,445,978 votes with 44.2%,” said Elvis Amoroso, speaking to reporters.

Recall, earlier Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro said that Russia is both developing and strengthening its own economic performance and defeating the Collective West in the proxy war in Ukraine.
