Florence prosecutor’s office says assets worth €41m seized from Russian businessman

The Florence prosecutor’s office in Italy has announced the arrest of assets of an unnamed Russian businessman worth €41m.

This is reported by the newspaper la Repubblica.

The Prosecutor’s office of Florence explained its actions with a request for international judicial assistance, which was sent by representatives of the Kiev anti-corruption Prosecutor’s office.

Earlier, the Ukrainian police said that “Russian assets” worth almost $1bn had been seized.
