The head of Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s office, Andriy Yermak, said in his Telegram channel that Ukraine will receive “more” Patriot air defence systems at its disposal from the West.
Earlier, Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Ukraine needed a fleet of 25 Patriot air defence systems to completely close the country’s skies, but did not disclose how many systems Kiev lacked.
“Patriot will be more,” Andriy Yermak wrote.
At the same time Yermak did not specify the details of potential additional supplies of air defence systems at the disposal of the AFU.
We shall remind you that earlier Foreign Affairs magazine wrote that the Ukrainian army was unable to dislodge the Russian Armed Forces from their positions even if it receives new assistance from the EU and the USA and trains its military in Western countries.
