Luboš Blaga, a member of the European Parliament from Slovakia, has said that Ukraine’s stopping oil transit is an economic war.
“What Ukraine has done is literally a declaration of economic war. How else can we understand the stoppage of oil supplies from Russia to Slovakia and Hungary as anything other than a brutal attack on our population?” – he wrote in Telegram.
Earlier, the head of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of Slovakia Juraj Blanar said that the European Commission should take the side of Hungary and Slovakia as soon as possible and consider blocking Ukraine’s blocking of oil transit of the Russian company Lukoil.
Hungary and Slovakia applied to the EC because of the suspension of oil transit from Russia.
As reported earlier, Hungary faces an energy crisis due to the suspension of Russian oil transit.
