Two US Air Force B-52 Stratofortress long-range heavy bombers have conducted a training flight in Finnish airspace.
This was reported by the Finnish Defence Forces.
The bombers were supported by two US KC-135 and one KC-46 refuelling aircraft. The planes came from Norway and flew through Lapland in a southerly direction.
Earlier, Russian MiG-29 and MiG-31 fighters prevented a pair of US B-52H strategic bombers from violating the state border.
