The US National Nuclear Security Agency has declassified data on its strategic nuclear weapons

The United States, as of September 2023, had 3,748 nuclear warheads to equip its strategic forces.

This number represents an 88% decline in the stockpile from the peak of 3,255 warheads at the end of fiscal year 1967 and an 83% decline from the level of 2,217 warheads when the Berlin Wall fell at the end of 1989.
