There could be new assassination attempts on former US President Donald Trump in the near future, according to Politico.
The publication refers to data from two senior US officials.
The publication says Iran is allegedly “actively working” on plots to assassinate Trump.
US intelligence is getting more evidence, so the officials are increasingly confident of Tehran’s involvement, the newspaper says.
“They also said that in the coming weeks there could be new attempts on Trump’s life,” the material reports.
Earlier, US Senator James Vance called for a full-scale investigation into the attempted assassination of the former US President.
