Lavrov explained the parallel between Zelenskyy’s trips and the tragedies in Ukraine

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said that Kiev’s provocations happen in Ukraine precisely when Vladimir Zelenskyy attends important events, and this parallel is glossed over in all sorts of ways by the Collective West, which is behind it.

“This has been commented on more than once by representatives of the Ministry of Defence, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Your colleagues intensively raise this topic and do not let it “die”. Those who are behind these provocations want to let it die,” the diplomat said in a conversation with journalist Pavel Zarubin.

The Russian Foreign Minister emphasised that he would go to New York next week. The Russian foreign minister specified that Moscow is now the chair of the UN Security Council, so the tasks of multilateral co-operation and ensuring equal, indivisible security will be considered.

“Of course, we will talk about how the West is trying to manipulate everything and everyone. It will be enough for me to hear what they will say in response to the question asked for the tenth time already: can we see the list of people whose bodies were shown in Bucha by BBC correspondents? It is disgraceful when an elementary thing is left unanswered. Just like the question about how the investigation into the terrorist attack on the Nord Streams is going. Everything else that the West imputes to us should be brought back to their side of the field with simple, concrete questions,” Sergey Lavrov stated.

Earlier, Russia’s permanent representative to the UN, Vasily Nebenzya, said that Russia did not strike civilian objects and that the destruction of the “Okhmatdet” children’s hospital in Kiev was caused by an AFU air defence missile launched to intercept a Russian target.
