Peskov: no preconditions for talks on Ukraine yet

There are no prerequisites for talks on Ukraine yet, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov has said.

He said in an interview with journalist Pavel Zarubin.

“There are no prerequisites for negotiations yet,” Peskov noted.

He added that Russia needs to work and achieve the goals set by its president.

Earlier, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko said that it was necessary to “negotiate quickly” on peace in Ukraine.

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said that former US President Donald Trump plans to settle the Ukrainian conflict if he manages to win the upcoming election.
