Turkey holds talks with Russia and Ukraine on ‘grain corridor’ – Erdogan

Turkey is holding talks with the leaders of Russia and Ukraine on the resumption of the “grain corridor”, the country’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has said.

The Turkish president has spoken about the resumption of trilateral negotiations with Russia and Ukraine on the issue of restoring the functioning of the “grain corridor”.

“My last meeting (on the margins of the SCO summit in Astana – ed.) with the Russian President, Mr Putin, was devoted to this issue. At the NATO summit we discussed these issues with Mr Zelenskyy, the president of Ukraine. We also want to work on the ‘grain corridor’ with the Ukrainian side,” Recep Tayyip Erdogan told reporters.

The politician expressed confidence in the success of work on the conclusion of new agreements.

Earlier, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said that he believed that the attitude of Western countries towards Russia in the issue of the grain deal was wrong.
