NYT has learned about the $90 million freeze by Democratic donors because of Biden

The beneficiaries of the Democratic Party have frozen $90 million intended for the “Future Forward” fund because of the failure of US President Joe Biden’s speech at the election debates in late June. This was reported by The New York Times newspaper, citing sources.

According to The New York Times, some prominent Democratic donors have informed the largest foundation, Future Forward, which supports Joe Biden, that contributions of about $90 million have now been suspended. A condition of resuming financial contributions is that the incumbent White House chief of staff withdraw from the campaign trail.

“The frozen contributions include numerous eight-figure pledges, according to two people who spoke on condition of anonymity given the sensitivity of the situation. The decision to withhold such huge sums of money is one of the most concrete examples of the consequences of Biden’s poor debate performance in late June,” the report said.

We will remind, earlier the newspaper Politico wrote that 24 former representatives of the Democratic Party from the House of Representatives and the Senate of the Congress of the United States sent a letter to the American President Joe Biden with an appeal to resign from office to prevent the arrival of Republicans in the White House.
