Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski has said that North Atlantic Alliance member states have “no appetite” to accept Ukraine into their ranks.
As RIA Novosti writes, he said this on the platform of the American Enterprise Institute.
“The alliance has no appetite to do this at the moment,” the minister said, commenting on the prospect of Ukraine’s membership in NATO.
At the same time, he said he wanted to support Ukraine to continue fighting.
Earlier, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan spoke against the alliance’s involvement in the Ukrainian conflict at the NATO summit.
