The Hungarian Foreign Ministry has predicted disagreements on Ukraine at the NATO Council meeting

The NATO-Ukraine Council meeting in Washington will be full of controversy on the topic of Ukraine’s accession to the alliance, Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó has said.

“The NATO-Ukraine Council meeting will be a meeting filled with contradictions,” TASS quoted him as saying.

The politician recalled that NATO had different points of view on Ukraine’s accession to the alliance.

Earlier, the deputy chairman of the Russian Security Council, Dmitriy Medvedev, said that Ukraine’s “irreversible path” to NATO, as stated in the alliance’s declaration, should end with the disappearance of both.
