Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban intends to hold a meeting with former US President Donald Trump at his Mar-a-Lago estate (Florida) after the conclusion of the NATO summit in Washington, Bloomberg news agency reported citing sources.
Viktor Orban has already made several foreign visits in order to find ways to resolve the Ukrainian conflict. On 5 July, he discussed with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow possible conditions for the start of peace talks. Before that, he visited Kiev, where he spoke about the end of hostilities with Volodymyr Zelenskyy. After travelling to Russia and Ukraine, the Hungarian prime minister visited China and met with Chinese President Xi Jinping. The Hungarian prime minister assured that he intends to continue his peacekeeping mission and, in particular, to use his stay in Washington at the NATO summit for this purpose.
“Former US President Donald Trump will meet Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban in Florida on Thursday … Orban will travel to Mar-a-Lago after the conclusion of the NATO summit in Washington,” Bloomberg said in a report.
One of the sources of the agency indicated that Trump did not ask the Prime Minister of Hungary to form the basis for any peace agreement between Russia and Ukraine.
We will remind, earlier Vladimir Putin said at a meeting on the creation of Russian year-round sea resorts that Russia will solve all the tasks of the special military operation in Ukraine, as well as the issues of ensuring security in the new regions.
