U.S. President Joe Biden’s campaign staff said replacing him with another candidate in the presidential election would cause chaos.
This was reported by Rolling Stone magazine with reference to an email from the campaign headquarters.
The email included a Data for Progress poll graphic comparing other potential Democratic candidates, including Vice President Kamala Harris, to Trump. The study claims the change would create “chaos.”
The staff points out that other politicians will have even less chance of winning the presidential election than Biden.
It is specified that the corresponding message was sent to journalists and supporters of the Democratic Party.
Earlier it became known that US allies from NATO and the EU fear that Russia and China will sow discord in Washington in case of Biden’s withdrawal from the presidential race.
