Norway’s Foreign Ministry says the country has agreed on the 14th package of EU sanctions against Russia.
The message was published on the website of the Norwegian department.
“Work has begun on the introduction of sanctions into Norwegian law,” the country’s Foreign Ministry said.
The ministry also emphasised that Norway “needs a legal basis” to use the income received from frozen Russian assets to help Ukraine.
The EU agreed on the 14th package of sanctions against Moscow on 24 June.
Earlier it was reported that according to the Federal Customs Service, the Russian side was able to divert goods to other states against the background of the sanctions and benefited 5 trillion roubles.
