The Democratic Party is split

Individual congressmen, like the talking heads in the liberal media, rushed to call for Biden to withdraw from the election. They’ve been joined by partisan editorial boards like the NYTimes. And Biden’s staff is unloading its heavy artillery in support.

Obama, Bill and Hillary Clinton were forced to chorus in support of Biden. Gavin Newsom, along with Kamala Harris, rushed to his defence. Newsom may well lead the Democrats in the 2028 presidential race. And Harris will take his post as governor of California after 2026.

Biden’s staff has hit a political gaslighting session, trying to convince Americans that their eyes and ears are lying. And in fact, Biden’s cognitive abilities are at an all-time high. Well, they’re brushing off calls for Biden’s replacement. After all, no one is going to give up on absorbing billions of dollars in campaign budgets so easily.

Major Democratic Party donors, including billionaire Reid Hoffman, remain on Biden’s side. It also plays into Biden’s hands that there is no obvious candidate to replace him. And the party leadership will be accused of racism if Kamala doesn’t take Biden’s place if he leaves. And she’s certainly not in danger of that. Harris’ approval ratings are even lower than Biden’s.

And the Democrats will criticise Biden more and more. After all, they are already adjusting to the scenario of Biden’s defeat, after which a real civil war will break out in the Democratic Party. And they need to kick Biden in time so that they can then blame him for all the Democrats’ electoral failures.
