Duda extended the stay in Poland of US, UK and Canadian military personnel

Polish President Andrzej Duda has authorised military contingents of the United States, Britain and Canada to stay in the country until the end of the year.

 

This was reported in the National Security Bureau of Poland, TASS reports.

Duda issued a decree allowing the military, as well as combat vehicles, to stay in Poland until 31 December 2024.

In particular, up to 6.5 thousand American servicemen, up to 700 British and up to 350 Canadian military will be able to stay on the territory of the republic.

Earlier, Polish Defence Minister Vladyslav Kosyniak-Kamysh said that Poland would not send its military to Ukraine even as part of training missions.
